    Mexico City Wine & Food - Exquisite Culinary Series - James Kent & Jorge Vallejo

    The second edition of the Exquisite Culinary Series by Wine & Food Festival presents the series "Chefs Who Dare" in which Chef James Kent, who was Chef de Cuisine of Eleven Madison Park, considered the best restaurant in the world according to list 50 Best of S. Pellegrino and Executive Chef of NoMad in New York and Chef Jorge Vallejo who currently runs the acclaimed restaurant Quintonil. This series will be held jointly with Club Piso 51, Club Premier and Nespresso and co-presented by American Express By Invitation Only.

    On March 21 and 22, Kent and Vallejo will cook a 6-course menu, presenting their signature dishes that only a privileged few will be able to taste in Mexico City.

    A unique experience, which will be accompanied with pairings selected by sommeliers Michelle Carlin of Grupo GEMARIC and Miguel Ángel Cooley, owner of LIPP La Brasserie and Gloutonnerie, Edwin Jasso and Andrés Arenas, who with their knowledge of wines and international and Mexican cuisine They will exalt the flavors to offer an exquisite moment to the guests.

    With 6 editions in Cancun-Riviera Maya and 3 in the CDMX, more than 200 culinary events, 25,000 attendees, and participants of the likes of  Michel Troisgos, James Kent, Jorge Vellejo, Dominique Crenn, and Helene Darozze, Wine & Food Mexico has positioned itself as one of the most important gastronomic experiences in the world.

    And although year after year has proven to be an unmissable event in more ways than one, its anniversary celebration will be simply splendid and quite different from previous years.

    In principle, the festival as such will be held only in Cancun, Riviera Maya and Tulum, but throughout the year there will be extraordinary events in other locations, of which the Exquisite Dinner Series stand out. Here is a taste of what we can expect:

    Exquisite Culinary Series (Tulum and CDMX)

     

    To celebrate the anniversary of the festival, 10 special dinners will be held this year, 6 in the CDMX and 4 in Tulum. In the words of its founder David Amar, will offer an experience that will go "beyond the fine dining", by integrating top international and Mexican chefs, unrepeatable menus, great wines, exceptional pairing, high level service, magical atmosphere and live music .

    For this edition, the theme of the Exquisite Dinner Series  will be "Legends and chefs that dare", which seek to honor both the best chefs in the world and the young promises. Some of its participants will be: César Troisgros , chef of the restaurant Maison Troisgros that has obtained three Michelin stars for 49 consecutive years; Dominique Crenn, named best female chef in the world according to 50 Best Restaurants Awards; and James Kent, former executive chef of NoMa, who will be cooking with Mexico Star Chef, Jorge Vellejo.
