FOH In Action: Drunken Dragon
Homecookin’ Hospitality Group is the mastermind behind the late-night Asian-inspired gastropub and cocktail bar, Drunken Dragon. Opened in 2014 -- South Beach’s first Korean barbecue restaurant, presents the do-it-yourself method of table side grilling paired with modern Asian tapas.
This one-of-a-kind style and flavor is exactly what we [Front of the House®] was looking for to properly translate on our NEW Artefact® Indigo, in preparation for this year's vibrant launch! Drunken Dragon’s speakeasy vibes and attention to detail go hand in hand with Indigo’s intricate and interesting concept.
Like the rest of the Artefact® collection, Indigo was created with a colored-body porcelain and reactive glaze, whose combination results in a wide variation of the color blue hues, making it so “no two pieces alike”. This unique characteristic makes the collection desirable and highly sought after in the marketplace.
Once talking to Catrina Pacinelli, Homecookin’ Hospitality Group’s Marketing Director, we knew this would be a #perfectlyplated match. Here’s how it went down:
- Octopus: Served with Gochujang BBQ Sauce
- Shanghai Style Fried Rice: Jasmine Rice, Egg, Scallion
- BFR Meat Board (Big F*@$king Rib): A 14-hour Braised Short Rib Served with Steamed Taiwanese Buns, Pickles, Lettuces, Herbs and 3 Sauces (Chimichurri, Hoisin, Red Dragon)
- Thai Chili Sambal Stir Fry Whole Branzino: Served with Grilled Lemon and Coconut Milk
